Rules and Expectations

No body likes rules, but like everything else, here at Infinitas Athrae, there are certain rules members must follow here. Please read carefully. Anyone caught disregarding these rules will allow staff members to warn, punish, or expel anyone violating these rules.

• Treat all members (including staff) with respect.
  
  
• No OOC sexism, racism, or other forms of discrimination.
  
  
• No spreading of hateful speech will be tolerated.
  
  
• Do not harrass another member. Should they ask you to leave them alone, you should do so. Complaints of harassment are taken very seriously among staff.
  
  
• Please be active. IA wants to pride itself on being active, so please do not join just for the sake of joining.
  
  
• Anyone who is not active for two weeks consecutively will be deleted unless prior notice is given.
  
  
• In which prior notice is given, the account will be untouched for that amount of time. Afterwards, you have two weeks again to put in another notice, or come back on.
  
  
• The forums are not for advertising purposes, please do not use them as such.
  
  
• If you wish to advertise on this site, you must put in an application to a staff member, and you must also advertise us on your site as well. It is only fair.
  
  
• Do not add copyrighted or otherwise plagiarized content to our website without permission of the owner.
  
  
• Use of obscene words is acceptable, but are not necessarily encouraged. Gratutious and unnecessary use of obscentities is discouraged and will be handled accordingly.
  
  
• Out Of Character should stay Out Of Character, and In Character should stay In Character. Do not take it personally if something happens to your character. Use of OOC knowledge to further your Player Character's agenda is no fun. You should not do so without permission.
  
  
• PowerPlaying is no fun. Do not go around self-moding your character so that he is the only one who gets to do amazing things.
  
  
• Similarily, do not God-Mod, either. Here at Infinitas Athrae, we expect a certain amount of realism. Governments do not topple for no reason, nor do new nations appear out of nowhere.
  
  
• Any issues you have, please contact a moderator or an admin. Do not bring them up with other members publicly on the forum. This includes disagreements about roleplay and things like that.
  
  
• This is Roleplay. We're all here to have fun.
  

While these are not a rule, please be aware there are some expectations to be had here.

• Here at Infinitas Athrae, we expect posts to be of a certain length. A paragraph consisting of 3-4 sentences is sufficient enough. Longer posts are more approved of, however.
  
  
• Please have some form of grammer skills. No one likes someone to respond to a roleplay or OOC post in chatspeak or some other form of lazy typing. Talking in such a way (i.e liek dis n such) will result in a warning. Continued use after warnings will result in a ban.
  

Breaking any of the above rules may result in an adminstrator placing a warning on the user's account.
