Name: Kato Takera
Species: Wood Elf
Alliance: Neutral Zone/Elven
Age: 15/15
general abilities/skills: Elven sight and hearing, basic bow and sword skills, a natural gift for painting and drawing.
Bio: He was born in the large Elven village, the City of the Rising Sun. He was the first and only son of Xaho and Elliera Takera. His mother, Elliera, died giving birth to him. This left Xaho in a terrible depression and unable to care for his son for the first few weeks of life. He was nearly a month old before receiving the name Kato, a name his mother had loved. Xaho was a decent father, but he couldn't help but blame Kato a bit for the death of his one and only love, often leading him to be a touch cold and detached from his son. Kato grew up with the other few children in the village. He had a lot to live up to, being the son of a man who was a great warrior before the time of peace. However, he didn't grow up the way his father had wanted. he was shy and docile, and preferred to help the women with their chores than to play some mock war out in the woods. He eventually began drawing things in the dirt with sticks. Amazingly they turned out well. Once, his father bartered with a traveling merchant for some paper and graphite sticks. He gave these to kato, and found that he had an amazing talent for drawing. Once that was mastered, his father bartered for paints and some canvas. as it were, kato could paint amazingly as well. But he was not the warrior his father wanted him to be. Now, he aspires to travel Qua-ari in search of inspiration, and to be a famous artist. He plans to leave the village-a rare occurrence- as soon as he turns 16. (That will make him legally an adult by most Qua-arian standards.)
