Dionysus shook a playful finger at the god of the dead. "you will do no such thing! I'm an immortal just as much as you are. You need more than just a social gather to dictate trying to harm me. Besides, I'm sure father wouldn't approve." he gave him a slick smile. "You're just upset that I'm the life of the party on olympus, and you're stuck underground."

"I couldn't care less about your father and Olympus," he told him, crossing his arms over his broad chest. "You know I dislike these kinds of things and yet you invited me to one anyway--and even going so far as to lie and make it an emergency!" He was almost tempted to pick fun at Dionysus' parental roots. It would give him some satisfaction to see the usually chipper god squirm and be upset at being reminded that one of his parents were mortal. Even if he was a ful god, it was always on everyone's minds who his mother was.

Twitchy... That described his ears best now as Morpheus stood and walked in a tired daze. He needed to do something or find something sweet... It was sort of annoying, truthfully... And not wanting to tell the two his thoughts on their bristly cat-dog relationship...
So instead he took to exploring.... Now let's only hope he didn't fall asleep....

Dionysus rolled his eyes. "What have you then....Oh look, Morpheus? Where are you going? Your poor frail body will get caught in the thick brush! Do come back and play with us a bit!" He walked over to where he was going. "I can ask one of the nymphs if they will bring you something sweet." He knew that morpheus always had a thing for sweet foods.

That certainly gave pause as Morpheus looked over towards Dionysus with interest. "Sweet...?" He repeated, as if the thought was sinfully tempting to him... In which in all truthfullness it was. Even his ears gave little flaps of excitement at the thought of baklava oozing in sweet honey.... "... Not much trouble?"

"Don't fall for his tricks, Morpheus," Hades told Morpheus as he followed after Dionysus. "Knowing him, he'd spike the sweets and you'd be drunk and in his hands where he wants you," he warned him. What was up with Dionysus's interest in Morpheus, anyways? He was always inviting the little Dream God to such things.

Dionysus waved his hand, casting a slight glare at Hades. "It would be no trouble at all! And pay no mind to our silly uncle. I wouldn't do something so dishonest to you. After all, I didn't inherit that much from my father!" He sent for them to bring morpheus some nice baklava. he knew how fond he was of the nice treat. So what if his mind was a bit in the gutter with him. that doesn't mean he'd take it too far.

Confusion popped up as Morpheus's expression. Both had their claims, and both could be truthful or speaking out of raging emoitions... After some thought, a sleepy smile crept onto Morpheus's face. "Still have the sweet... But Hades can make sure Dionysus not try anything..." Was the solution that came quite easily to mind. "That fine?"
He didn't seem to care much for the answer, as his eyes seemed searching for the sweet treat. His ears back to showing his expressive happiness. Surely, if he had a puppy's tail it would be wagging a mile a minute. In its stead, he looked almost like he was about to fly away if his body was any lighter.

Hades sighed and shook his head, near ready to face palm. He would've, but that'd probably be below him, and not something someone of his stature would do. So he didn't, and just opted for sighing, and not saying anything. He kind of hoped Dionysus really did do something to the baklava, just so Morpheus would learn his lesson on trusting someone of Dionysus' sort.

Dionysus took the baklava once it arrived from one of the nymphs with a kind thanks. he handed it off to Hades. "There you go. Look away. I assure you, I have done nothing to it!" He really hadn't He had just wanted to butter him up a bit with a treat. He would get to the more flirtatious things later.

Hades made a slight face at the sticky substance. He never liked sweets, not even when Persephone offered something sweet to him (even though he took the proffered sweet anyway, simply because she offered it to him and he wanted to make her happy). "Like I care," he told him simply, holding the baklava out to Morpheus.

Anxiously waiting for the baklava, Morpheus's face lit in glee as he snatched up the pastry to munch on it. Bite, bite... Nibble, chew... Swallow. "Thank you..." He finally remembered to tell Dionysus as he licked at his lips contently. It was good... So...so good... And without much ado, he went back to savoring the sweet treat. His body shivering pleasurably from his toes up through his spine and quivering his wings.

Dionysus patted his back. "Of course of course, dear cousin..." He gave a wry glance at Hades before turning to look at Morpheus again. He put his arm around him and smiled. "I'm glad that you liked it." He leaned down and playfully kissed his cheek...it could be played off as a more family appropriate kiss.

Growing red, Morpheus paused just before taking another bite of his treat. Glancing up towards the god of earthly pleasures, he looked confused and maybe the slightest bit wary. The kiss was innocent enough... And he was trying to think it as such as he slowly tore off a bit with his teeth, devouring the torn bit thoughtfully. Maybe he should've asked for some water as well...

Hades shook his head, unfulled by the seemingly family-like kiss. With Dionysus, it could never be anything so simple and innocent as a friendly or family-like action. But he said nothing, simply watching. He was half-tempted to go back to the Underworld. But there was no where down there that wouldn't remind him of Persephone. There was her grove of her favorite flowers... Her chair beside his, which was large and made of skulls and bones, and especially their bed... He sighed and shook his head. Plus, perhaps this would pass the time a little quicker.
